BREAKING: Appeal court sacks Sekibo

The Appeal Court in Abuja has dismissed the appeal filed by Senator George Sekibo, challenging the judgement  of Rivers State National Election tribunal which sacked him as Senator representing  Rivers East Senatorial District.

According to the appellate court, Sekibo’s appeal lacks merit as it did not show any reason  the decision of the lower court should be set aside
