Tormented by perennial back pain?
Hello Charles, I saw an article on waist pain in the Saturday Sun Newspapers of May 2017. It was really impressive. My wife brought the paper containing your column captioned “back pain and you”, because she knows I am going through that challenge seriously and all the drugs prescribed for me have not caused the pain to abate appreciably. Please do you have a consulting office in Lagos? I am seriously in pain, especially my waist. This has been on for 5years. This challenge has been perennial. My wife is so much worried about the effect of this problem on our sexual relationship. In fact, she has persuaded me to inquire how and where you can be of help. I am worried, but she is much more worried. I live in V.I -Ogunloye
Really, disturbing back pain can seriously impinge on your conjugal obligation. Your wife has a reason to be disturbed. With disturbing waist pain, your partner will not get the best from you during intimate relationship. The excitement is lost, because the erectile organ may have lost its turgidity to perform expectedly, caused by nipping on certain important nerve root in your back supplying impulse to the organ. A good manipulative therapist would be able to undo the problem and impulses could once again flow into the organ. Our affiliate office is at Omega physiotherapy & back pain care centre, No. 29 Akerele Surulere, Lagos.
Good day sir, I am Temple, 41yrs, from Port Harcourt in Rivers state. I work with Halliburton offshore in Port Harcourt. I spend much time with my team working on the rigs. Sir, as I am texting you now, I am in real pain. My colleagues in the company also complain similar pain in their backs. We dwell on drugs from our provider hospitals, which have not really helped much. I have tried the Ijaw people who massage, yet to no avail. I have read places your foundation has organized workshops and rendered free therapy. Can I furnish you with the phone number of our Human Resources Manager so that you can contact him to organize pep talk for the workers? Almost all the workers suffer serious back pain. As for myself I shall come for the free treatment scheduled on 25 and 26 of August at 14 Ndele Street, D-line, Port Harcourt.
The work on the rigs is enormously back straining. I have been there to offshore treat persons with serious waist pain while in Warri. The vibrations, the turning, the lifting, the pushing, etc, can seriously impinge on the back structures, causing micro-traumas. Douglas, I perceive that it is proper to inform your H.S.E manager to contact me through the above number or visit our website: http://ift.tt/2xtSken for details.
I am Peters, I live in Ahoda in Rivers State. I have been suffering this waist pain for close to 8-years and have tried all back pain drugs prescribed for me by our company doctor, none has actually helped satisfactorily. How can we access your treatment for those of us living in Port Harcourt? Many of my colleagues in the company are victims of this horrible health problem and have tried everything from orthodox to traditional, none worked satisfactorily. Thanks. Daboolo.ß
No doubt, drugs have a place in the treatment of back pain, but their effects are often short-lived. Massaging the back is good; it has relaxation effect on the back musculature but will not deal with the cause of the pain. Physiotherapy skillfully performed is a preferred option to the problem of common back pain.
The Back Pain Care Foundation is using its affiliate clinic; Omega physiotherapy and back pain care centre, to render free intervention treatment for sufferers of neck pain, mid back pain and lower back pain (waist pain). The venue will be at No. 14 Ndele Street, Dline, Port Harcourt, between 8a.m and 4p.m, on the 25 and 26 of August 2017. Endeavour to be there. The two-day treatment exercise is purely free.
